5月1日，宜(昌)万(县)铁路宜昌长江铁路大桥开始铺轨。宜昌长江铁路大桥是宜万铁路的重点和控制性工程，全长2527米。
Track-laying was started on Yichang Railway Bridge crossing the Yangtze River of Yichang-Wanxian Railway (YiWan Railway) on May 1st. With the length of 2527m, the railway bridge is a key and bottleneck project of YiWan Railway.
记者从铁道部获悉，5月1日至10日，10天时间铁路共突击抢运东北地区粮食234万吨，其中入关粮食165万吨，实现了入关粮食运量同比翻番。经过铁路突击抢运，目前南方地区粮食价格已经有所回落。
In the 10 days from May 1st to 10th, CR transported 2.34 million tons of grain from the northeast, among which 1.65 million, doubling the amount of the same corresponding period of last year, were shipped into Shanhaiguan Pass, according to MOR. Thanks to railway’s urgent transport, the grain price of the south has dipped back.
